  1. Hi Kevin,

after reading pretty much through all your website, and downloading your guides, I started my 30-day journey which is close to ending in a few days. The only issue I can report is having loose stools on the first 10 days, and that has been resolved naturally. I had a few sleeping issues as well which lasted a few days, and that is not the case anymore, as I can sleep for 8/10 hours straight whenevr I can, such as during the weekends. I feel great, energetic, and I feel like I put on some muscle as well, considering I do not work out. Only issue is, I lost around 8 pounds in the first week, and then regained it all back during the last three weeks. I am not after weight loss per se, but after a change in my body composition, which to me means less fat and maybe some muscle. If you ask me, I feel slimmer that I did when I started, although I can see I put on some fat during the past three weeks, nothing major. My name is Enrico, I am 5′.6″ and weight around 154 pounds. When I was doing keto, I dropped from 180 pounds to 142 in less than 6 months, but I was always countin calories and hungry, and I lost kind a good amount of muscle in the process, I was thin, but likely malnourished, the opposite to what I feel today. Why do you think I had this rapid weight loss in just a few days, and then gained it all back? Am I like the Sally in your guide? Whas it all water weight, and now I am finally feeding my body and rebalancing it? I do not care so much about my weight, I just would like to lose that bit of fat that I see around my waist. As for the diet, i alternat red meat with chicken thighs, and eggs, I also consume butter, which I use for cooking and I also add it to my meals. Am I doing the right thing, or do you have any suggestions for me?

Thank you for any support you will give me,

    1. I thought you said you read through everything and downloaded the guides 🙂

This exactly what I talk about in the fat loss guide – which goes through exactly how I think you should handle this.

  2. I have some questions, and preferred this way of communicating with you three. Before I ask, I could let you know more details about my starting Carnivore. But my current concern is, three weeks into full carnivore (hamburger, pork fat, pink H. salt, water and coffee), for the last week I have had some headaches and general aches in the morning. Thus I have been consuming Excedrin and Advil once a day to stave off this. I am concerned because for the last week, the headache and other aches return every morning. I don’t want to take pain pills every day, and I am concerned about my liver and kidneys because of these pills. Any advice? Should I just wait it out until my morning aches go away. BTW, extremely excellent progress made in many other areas. Just this hitch. If you all are not too busy, please advise. Thank you.

  3. Do 70 year + older women and men have success with the carnivore diet

  4. i try carnivore diet for at least 3 weeks and i feel good, no pain in my finger joints. but i am back to eating carb now. after my swimming, 90mins a day for 4 times a week, i get so hungry, i can eat anything.i have been swimming for a long time, that is only exercise i love to do. i don’t want to stop swimming because this diet. but i also like this diet too. what should i do? thank you.

    1. By starting to eat carbs so early, it’s really hard to give meaningful feedback except that when people reintroduce carbs they do tend to get very hungry.

  5. I was not big on sugars and carbs (pasta, flours, breads) before I began carnivore. The transition was a breeze for me. And many health ailments melted away. I did have a crises after 33 days and I went back to my veggies and animal protein way of eating. Some ailments are back. I want to go back on carnivore (been off only 3 weeks) and wondering if doing so (on & off) is harmful? Also because I never ate processed foods (did all my own cooking —- raised that way), I don’t think I got a lot of sodium. Do I need the extra salt on carnivore or only if I have an electrolyte imbalance? Thank you

    1. I think it really depends what your “off” foods are an how well you tolerate them. It sounds like you keep it close to “real” food, so likely not a huge issue.

I do think increasing sodium intake is a smart thing.

  6. I’m turning 40 in a few months. I’m morbidly obese 400lbs+. I tried WE and other diets (plant based).
I never tried keto because I’m addicted to sugar and carbs… My health has been deteriorating very rapidly in the last year. Doctor keeps telling me to eat vegetables, fish and fresh fruit… I’m always hungry and I aim for the fruit more than anything else…
I want to completely switch to meat and animal products but I need some advice on what to get in my friedge and pantry to start the first 2 weeks.
    Help please?

  7. Recently I read that some people with a genetic tendency (familial history) of heart disease do not do as well on a keto or diet with high saturated fats. I realize there is science showing that beart disease is more about inflamation caused by a SAD diet, but again, read that for some it may be a genetic thing. A friend got a CAC test which was high, and has bad lipid ratios and has a large calcification or anuerism in one artery. I realize you cannot give medical advise. I just wonder if carnivore (or clean keto) would be a cure or a killer for him? Can you direct me to futher information?

    1. I couldn’t say, but it seems like the dietary approach your friend has used in the past looks like a dangerous one to continue with.

  8. Hello I’m the sally all I have been doing different diets, I did a lot of damage to my thyroid for a long time especially that one that I did with 500 calories to eat all day, I did Keto for 1 year and i had no results, I recently started working out with 30 min cardio and 30 min on weight lifting, but its very discouraging when you see no weight loose. I’m very short and I weight 158 for my height 4.9. I started Carnivore in January 1st 2019 and when i get discourage i go and cheat here and there I have been doing very good, My sleep its better and my energy is good too, any suggestions.

    1. Hi Laura, I can’t give you medical advice. But most people see improvements in blood pressure quite rapidly eating this way. Obviously, you should work with your doctor.
My guess is that you are quite new to this way of eating…
